As a rule of thumb, 30cm (12 inches) should be allowed for drape at each side and end, meaning that a tablecloth should ideally be 60cm (24 inches) wider and longer than the corresponding table.

However, somewhat less or more is also acceptable.

The guide will respond with the most suitable tablecloth(s), giving shape options where applicable.

Tables which require tablecloths wider than 229 cm (90") and longer than 366 cm (144") are relatively uncommon. These are not listed in our online catalogue (we weave Linen Damasks in widths up to 274 cm (108") and of virtually any length).
