fabric of them all - soft and sensuous:
cool and relaxing. Nothing like putting your head on a cool linen pillowcase on those hot, humid summer nights.

Hemstitched (pictured) or two row cord hem options

Two basic styles of pillowcase are available, Housewife and Oxford:

1. Housewife is a simpler lower cost style. It's design is essentially a bag, with a flap in the open end to tuck the pillowcase behind to keep it in the bag. Probably named because the bag style could easily be made up in the home. (Excuse the name, which is not really PC, but it is the old traditional name)
2. Oxford is a more elaborate design. It still is essentially a bag with an open end and a flap to keep the pillow in, but it also has a 5cm-10cm valance round all four sides. With a hemstitched or corded decoration around the inner edge of the valance (see pillowcase shown in image above).

Although the more expensive version we find Oxford style is very much more popular with our customers.
